ISO 9001 - Clause 7 - Support - Resources, Competence, Awareness, Communication.

Clause 7 of ISO 9001:2015 pertains to support. It requires organizations to determine and provide the necessary resources to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System. This includes provisions for personnel, infrastructure, work environment, monitoring and measuring resources, and organizational knowledge.

7.1 Resources

This clause requires businesses to determine and provide all necessary resources for the Quality Management System's establishment, execution, maintenance, and continual improvement.
Examples of resources are,
1. Infrastructure
2. Human Resource
3. Machinery and Equipment's
4. Financial support
etc. 
These resources are essential to ensuring the organization can meet its objectives and deliver quality products or services.

7.2 Competence

This sub-clause focuses on ensuring that the personnel executing the processes are competent. This could be through education, training, or experience.
Organization need to defined competence required for business operation. Records need to be maintained of competence. This can be internal trainings records, on job training  records,  Competency matrix, Educational qualification certificates, External training records.
Where there is gap in competence, Organization need to take action to acquire required competence. Action can be providing trainings to staff.

7.3 Awareness

This clause emphasizes that employees should be made aware of the quality policy, relevant quality objectives, their contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS, and the implications of not conforming with the QMS requirements.

7.4 Communication

It mandates organizations to determine the internal and external communications relevant to the quality management system including what, when, with whom, how, and who communicates.

Roles and responsibility document or assigning verbally 
Communication matrix
Organization may use one or more option or any other option to define the communication.

7.5 Documented Information

This clause requires managing documented information that is necessary for the operation of processes and to ensure that the QMS is functioning properly.
Organization shall ensure proper identification of document including control of document which means revision of document and approval of document prior to use. Organization need to identify external origin documents and control the document for internal use.
